Otis C. Shearer

Otis C. Shearer was Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by the Texas Board of Specialization. He had been certified in Civil Trial Law from 1968 through 2018, the first forty years that such certification was offered.

He has prepared and tried a wide variety of civil cases in the trial and appellate courts since he joined the firm in 1967. Otis concentrated his practice on oil and gas and other business litigation.

Otis transitioned to Of Counsel status in 2016.

In 2017, Mr. Shearer celebrated 50 years of practicing law in the State of Texas.

Otis now spends his time traveling around the country and visiting family. He's also an avid photographer and all of the landscape images on this website were taken by him.
