Oil and Gas Development and Operations
We advise and represent clients on matters relating to oil and gas operations, joint operating agreements, assignments, master service agreements, working interest disputes, and other related matters. As part of our full range of services, our lawyers also prepare drilling and division order title opinions, as well as title curative instruments whenever title defects are discovered.
Mineral Interests and Leasing
We negotiate, review and prepare oil and gas leases and division orders on behalf of our clients. Our firm is also able to assist should disputes over oil and gas leases or payment of rents and royalties arise.
Landowner Representation
We assist surface landowners in negotiating the terms of many agreements related to oil and gas exploration, including seismic permits, easements, salt water disposal leases, and surface and subsurface use agreements. Our lawyers also assist landowners in resolving disputes involving operators’ improper use of the land and other contract breaches.
Oil and Gas Litigation
Our attorneys have prepared and tried a variety of oil and gas cases in the trial and appellate courts. We litigate various oil and gas matters including cessation of production cases, quiet title actions and other curative title work related to mineral interests.
